The Emergency Medical Technician course trains students to work on an ambulance or for a fire department.<\/p>\r\n\r\n


Students who successfully meet all of the course requirements will receive a certificate of completion and will be eligible to take the National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) exam. Once certified by NREMT, students are eligible to apply to the State of Texas and receive their State of Texas EMT-Basic certification.<\/p>\r\n
